The second case of Ebola is being monitored by health officials, and every other person that Patient Zero came into contact with is being investigated. However, they have no idea about who he was with where he stopped at. Here is the tweet from the hospital:

However, there is a lot of talk about Ebola being airborne. This research was done in Canada, which shows that Ebola can hang around in the air in large droplets.
“The researchers demonstrated transmission of the Zaire strain of Ebola from pigs to macaques without direct contact between them. Pigs inoculated with the Ebola virus were kept physically separated but in close proximity to the monkeys, all of which contracted the illness.
“What we suspect is happening is large droplets – they can stay in the air, but not long, they don’t go far,” states Dr Gary Kobinger of the National Microbiology Laboratory at the Public Health Agency of Canada. “But they can be absorbed in the airway and this is how the infection starts, and this is what we think, because we saw a lot of evidence in the lungs of the non-human primates that the virus got in that way.” The statements were made in response to questions from BBC News.”
Not only that, but in a coded message from the CDC they admitted it as well that Ebola is airborne.

As you can see they are worried as well. If the CDC and US government was not worried about this Ebola case, then why would they be buying 160,000 hazmat suits a few weeks ago, preparing the funeral homes on how to dispose of the bodies, and finally buying more hazmat suits the day after the confirmation!
The CDC is obviously not trying to freak people out, however human nature says to do so. Unfortunately, they are forgetting that telling people how to potentially deal with Ebola could save lives, and it could keep people away from suspected areas. As they comb through individuals who have been exposed.

For the worst part of all this, the US is out of ZMapp the cure that was used on health officials around the world and in the USA. From the Guardian:
“The Ebola patient in Dallas will not be given ZMapp, the experimental drug used to treat several international aid workers and medical staff, including at least two Americans, because stocks have run out. ZMapp is one of the drugs that is being rushed into trials in the epidemic, along with other drugs that will need more safety data in animals and humans before they are administered to patients.”
